Well, today is another milestone on this journey. I have finished settling Michael's estate. I hope I never see another cheque or letter addressed to "The Estate of.." my son. That's really all I want to say about it I guess. It's finished.
Take all those envelopes and (once you've removed the contents) burn them. Obviously keep the contents in a safe space.
I would think those words would send shivers down my spine.
I remember how odd it felt to have letters directed to me and seeing my name on the Cancer Agency letterhead ... weird how these mere words have such power over us.
